Travel Is Booming—But Do You Really Want to Plan It Yourself?

Let’s be real—travel is bigger than ever, and with a whole planet of destinations calling your name, planning can get overwhelming fast. Where do you stay? Where do you eat? How do you avoid shelling out for a “partial ocean view” that’s really just a sliver of blue between two buildings? You could spend hours sifting through reviews, hoping for the best… or you could work with a travel advisor who’s already done the legwork, making sure your trip is seamless, stress-free, and, frankly, way better than anything an algorithm can spit out.

The travel game is moving fast—American Airlines is leading the charge with a 21% market share, while culinary tourism is growing at a sizzling 19.9% annually. More Americans are getting their passports stamped than ever before, and let’s not forget the TikTok effect—everyone’s chasing bucket-list adventures, hidden-gem escapes, and food so good it makes you rethink your entire life. In a world where experiences matter more than ever, having an insider who knows the industry isn’t just helpful—it’s essential. Because let’s be honest, no one wants to end up in a tourist trap when they could be sipping a perfectly mixed negroni on a secluded terrace with a view.

And if you think travel advisors just hand out hotel recs, think again. This industry is —$42.7 billion strong—because the demand for bespoke, stress-free, perfectly curated experiences is skyrocketing. Having explored nearly a hundred cities across the globe, I bring more than just booking expertise—I bring real, boots-on-the-ground knowledge. I know which hotels actually live up to the hype, where to find that unforgettable meal, and which experiences will make your trip actually special. That kind of insight? You’re not getting it from an online search.

Whether you’re after a sleek luxury escape, a no-frills adventure, or the perfect mix of both, I make sure every detail is dialed in tighter than a New York minute—so all you have to do is pack. As a FORA Advanced Advisor, I’ve got access to exclusive industry perks and insider networks that elevate every part of your trip.

My 2025 goal? Leveling up to FORA PRO Advisor status, bringing even more value, connections, and VIP treatment to every itinerary I craft.

YOLO!!!!—so go see the world! Let me handle the logistics and craft an unforgettable experience for you.

From Travel Lover to Travel Advisor: Turning Passion into Perks

I’ll be the first to admit—I never used a travel advisor. Why would I? I lived for the thrill of trip planning. Scouting out hidden-gem hotels, locking in impossible dinner reservations, mapping out the perfect itinerary—it was my thing. But then it hit me: Why not turn this obsession into something more? What started as me being that friend everyone turned to for travel advice is now a side hustle picking up serious momentum.

That said, being a travel advisor isn’t just about knowing where to find the best boutique hotels or which restaurants actually live up to the hype. There’s a whole other side to this industry—one that takes training, strategy, and a serious network. Thankfully, FORA Travel gave me the tools and insider access to level up. Now, I don’t just plan trips—I engineer experiences. The kind that make people say, "That was the best trip of my life."

Think using a travel advisor means shelling out a fat stack of cash? Fuhgeddaboudit. I unlock VIP perks, upgrades, and one-of-a-kind experiences you won’t find in a Google search—usually at the same price (or better) than booking it yourself - Try me out! But yeah, you could spend hours juggling 37 open tabs, spiraling into analysis paralysis… or you could let me handle the heavy lifting while you sip a cocktail and enjoy a trip that has people asking, “Wait… how did you pull that off?”

I’ve taken more travel trainings than I can count, and it’s flipped a creative switch in my brain I didn’t even know existed. Now I’m more motivated than ever to help you experience the same kind of Zen I find when I’m out in the world—whether it’s diving into local culture, chasing that perfect bite, soaking up some peace and quiet, or just finding that bar with that cocktail you’ll be dreaming about long after you’re home.

What I Bring to the Table:

Custom Itineraries – Tailored to your vibe, whether that’s luxury, adventure, or a little of both.
VIP Perks & Upgrades – Free breakfast, late checkouts, room upgrades—the works.
Zero Stress, All Fun – I handle the logistics, bookings, and inevitable travel hiccups.
Local Intel & Hidden Gems – Because the best spots don’t always show up on Google.
Seamless Group & Luxury Travel – Families, honeymoons, milestone trips—I’ve got you.

Bottom line: You bring the destination, I make it unforgettable.

Why Work with a Travel Advisor?

(me 😁)

When you book through me, you’re not just getting a hotel room—you’re unlocking VIP treatment with perks that actually matter:

Complimentary Upgrades (when available—because who doesn’t love an upgrade?)
Daily Free Breakfast (skip the overpriced hotel eggs)
Early Check-in & Late Check-out (because your schedule > hotel policies)
Hotel Credits for spa treatments, dining, and cocktails (hello, free massages)
Personalized Welcome Amenities (feeling like a VIP never gets old)
Special Recognition (a little extra love at check-in never hurts)

I’ve got access to the best of the best: Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, Marriott STARS, Hyatt Privé, Belmond Bellini Club, and more. And the best part? These perks usually come at the same price (or close) to what you’d find online—without the endless scrolling or surprise Wi-Fi fees.

But I don’t just do hotels. Luxury cruises, private excursions, curated food crawls—if you can dream it, I can plan it. Want to sail through the Greek Isles in style? Set up a private vineyard tour in Tuscany? Eat your way through Tokyo’s best izakayas? I make it happen.

For full itinerary planning, a small fee may apply—but the time, stress, and guesswork you’ll save? Absolutely worth it.

Food: The Heart of Travel

When I travel, I’m not just looking for a great hotel or the top sights—I’m on a mission to find the best meal, too. Whether I’m flying solo or with friends and family, I go all in—digging through reviews, tracking down hidden gems, chatting up locals, and making sure I land a table at the spot, not just the one with the best Instagram lighting.

Because let’s be real—food is more than just something to eat. It’s a crash course in culture, history, and tradition, all served up on a plate. Every dish tells a story, and with every bite, I’m learning something new—about the place, the people, and whether I should’ve worn looser pants.

Did You Know? The Origins of Iconic Foods

  • Paella (Spain 🇪🇸) – Originally a Valencian farmworkers' dish cooked over an open fire with rabbit, chicken, and snails. The seafood version came later.

Chicken Tikka Masala (UK 🇬🇧) – Created in Glasgow by a Bangladeshi chef who added a tomato-based sauce to dry chicken tikka.

  • Tapas (Spain 🇪🇸) – Some say tapas originated from King Alfonso X, who ate small bites with wine for health. Others claim bartenders used bread to cover drinks, evolving into Spain’s beloved snack culture.

  • Pasta (Italy 🇮🇹 or China 🇨🇳?) –Noodles existed in China for over 4,000 years, but dried pasta was introduced to Sicily by Arabs in the 9th century.

  • Croissant (Austria 🇦🇹 → France 🇫🇷) –Inspired by Austria’s “kipferl,” shaped like the Ottoman crescent. The French later perfected the flaky pastry we know today.

  • Sushi (Japan 🇯🇵), with Southeast Asian roots 🇹🇭🇱🇦 🇻🇳) – Originated as a fish preservation method in Southeast Asia, later evolving into fresh vinegared rice sushi in Japan.

Food history is full of surprises! Which one surprised you the most? 😊

City Spotlight: Mexico City

My Luxurious Escape to Mexico City

Last summer, I finally made it to Mexico City—a place that had been calling my name for years. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. My stay at the Four Seasons Mexico City was nothing short of spectacular. Thanks to some VIP perks, I scored a sweet suite upgrade (because why not start things off right?). From the moment I walked in, the hotel felt like an oasis—impeccable service, elegant decor, and that lush courtyard? Absolute perfection.

Four Seasons Mexico City: A True Urban Oasis

The bar and coffee shop? Next level. Mornings kicked off with a perfect espresso in the sun-drenched courtyard, and nights wrapped up with expertly crafted cocktails at Fifty Mils—easily one of the best hotel bars I’ve been to. And the breakfast? An absolute feast. Fresh conchas, pan dulce, made-to-order chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, tamales, artisanal cheeses, and tropical fruit so fresh it tasted like it was just picked. No better way to start the day.

It’s also a dream for remote work—beautifully designed common areas, quiet nooks for setting up with a laptop, and seamless service that keeps your coffee cup full. I could have spent the day working… if I wasn’t busy eating tacos and exploring the city. And with its prime spot on Paseo de la Reforma, everything—Chapultepec Park, Roma Norte, the city's best bites—is just a short stroll or Uber away.

Exploring Mexico City’s Culture & History

Mexico City is where history and modern energy collide—and I wasted no time diving in. Chapultepec Park? A lush urban escape with lakes, museums, and a castle serving up panoramic views that’ll make you feel like royalty. Paseo de la Reforma? A grand boulevard lined with statues, skyscrapers, and the Angel of Independence—way more impressive in person than any postcard could do justice.

For a taste of the contemporary, Museo Tamayo delivered bold, thought-provoking art, while Roma Norte was effortlessly cool—bohemian charm, indie cafés, and street art that had me considering a sudden relocation.

Taco Heaven (a.k.a. My Personal Culinary Tour)

Let’s cut to the chase—you don’t go to Mexico City and not eat your weight in tacos. I put in the work (you’re welcome):

🌮 Los Cocuyos – Suadero tacos so tender, they basically melted on impact.
🔥 Taquería Orinoco – Al pastor perfection, smoky, juicy, and completely addictive.
🐟 El Pescadito – The crispiest fried fish and shrimp tacos on the planet.
🧀 Costras – Because sometimes tortillas aren’t enough—grilled, caramelized cheese is the real MVP.

The Joy of Exploring on Foot

Beyond the tacos and five-star hotels, the best part? Just wandering. Polanco’s high-end streets, Roma Norte’s indie boutiques, and unexpected finds around every corner—hidden art galleries, expertly crafted mezcal cocktails, and bookstores I could’ve spent hours in. This city moves fast, but if you slow down, you’ll find magic in the details.

Mexico City: Bigger Than Life and Impossible to Shake

This city isn’t just big—it’s massive. 573 square miles, 22 million people, and more energy than Times Square on New Year’s Eve. It’s a wild mix of past and present—Aztec ruins next to glass skyscrapers, a centuries-old castle overlooking rush-hour traffic, Diego Rivera murals by day, tacos al pastor by night.

It’s bold, chaotic (in the best way), and completely addictive. I left inspired, overfed, slightly over-caffeinated, and already planning my return—because let’s be real, one trip to Mexico City is never enough.

On My List for Next Time

The one thing I didn’t check off? A hot air balloon ride over Teotihuacán. Floating over the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon at sunrise? Sounds cinematic. It’s happening next trip.

Big thanks for reading and being part of this ride—it truly means the world. Travel is about living big, and I want this newsletter to be just as inspiring. So, what’s on your radar? A five-star retreat? A private island where “crowds” are just seagulls? Insider access to exclusive experiences? Or maybe you just want to indulge in luxury without maxing out your Amex (trust me, it’s doable). Whatever it is, hit me up—I’ll make sure future editions serve up exactly what you’re craving.
